Tickt was designed to connect builders to the right tradie for their project. Browse quality jobs in your field posted by reputable builders. Choose the jobs that suit your expertise and your schedule. 

Tickt was created to give tradies and builders the ability to do better business through trust and accountability, while providing tools to help keep projects on track and on budget.

Tickt is a builder’s one-stop-shop to compare and hire tradespeople including electricians, plumbers, carpenters, tilers, roofers, concreters, framers, joiners, waterproofers, painters, bricklayers, glaziers, renderers, landscapers, stone masons, plasters & more.

How does it work for builders?

Tickt helps you find the right Tradie for your project. Post jobs, get quotes, track job progress and make instant payments, all in one place. Stay organised, stay on budget, and exceed your expectations.

  • Post a job with a description, milestones, images and support documents. Whether you have a budget or would like a quote, instantly receive applications from suitable tradies available in your area.
  • Visit profiles, compare ratings, and hire the right tradesperson for your project.
  • Add a timeline and create milestones so you can track job progress, and make instant payments when a job or milestone is completed.
  • Reward great work by using the Tickt rating system.
  • Save your favourite tradies so you can invite them to apply for future jobs.

  • Browse and apply for jobs that suit your expertise, location and schedule. Submit quotes, visit builder’s profiles and get hired instantly.
  • Tick off job milestones as you complete them, keeping your builder up to date.
  • When you successfully complete a job, your builder can make an instant payment, safely and securely.
  • Be rewarded for your great work and rate your experience using the Tickt rating system, so that other tradies can work with great builders.
  • Grow your business, stay organised and get paid on time.

How do I sign up?

You can sign up to Tickt for free by navigating to the ‘Sign up’ tab at the top of this page, or here.

What do I need to sign up?

To sign up and start using Tickt, you will need:

– Email address
– Driver’s licence or Passport
– Phone number (for 2-step authorisation)
– ABN (Australian Business Number)
– Payment method (Builders: Credit card and/or bank account. Tradies: bank account)

How do I contact support?

There are two ways to use our support service. Either via the in-app chat feature or by sending an email to support@tickt.com.au.

By contacting support, we can help you with your account, your profile or any tech issues you may be experiencing. You can also reach out with any feedback you have about our products and services.

What are Tickt hours of operation?

Business Hours:
Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm (AEST)

Support Centre Hours:
You can send us a message with the in-app support messaging service or email us at any time, and we’ll endevour to get back to you asap.

Where can I find the app?

The Tickt app is available to download on both the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store.

Why should I use the app?

Using the app is a convenient way to post, view, accept and manage jobs while you’re on-the-go. All of the same features are available on both the app and the website.

The Tickt app can be downloaded from both the App Store and the Google Play Store.

Why is the app not working for me?

If you’re experiencing any issues with the app, make sure you have the latest version of the app by either updating this on the Google Play Store or the App Store.

If you are still having problems, contact Tickt Support for further troubleshooting and investigation.

Using Tickt

How do I set up my profile?

Setting up your public profile is easy.

Navigate to your Profile area. Here you can edit your profile information, banking details, view saved jobs and change your settings.

Tap ‘Profile information’ to add your logo, name and business. Add some information about your business to the ‘About’ section, upload images of your work to the ‘portfolio’ and add your areas of specialisation. Save your changes and your updated profile will be visible to the public.

As a builder, how do I post a job?

Click the ‘Post Job’ button. Here you can:
– Name the job and give it a description
– Select what trade you require, choose a category and add any specialisations tags you need
– Select the location of the job
– Set the job type (For quoting, per hour or fixed price)
– Choose the timing of the job using the calendar
– Add job milestones
– Upload images, a video or any supporting documents
– Review your job and post it!

Where can I view my jobs?

Clicking on the ‘Jobs’ tab will take you to your Job Dashboard. Here you will see three tabs: Active, Applied & Past.
Active: Here is where your live jobs are kept.
Applied: This is where you can see what jobs you have applied for and are waiting for a response.
Past: Here you can view past or recently completed jobs.

Payments

What are the platform fees?

While Tickt is free to join, we take a small commission on any successfully completed job.
Our rates work on a sliding scale depending on the value of the job.

Commission rates:
$1 – $500: 7%
$501 – $1000: 5%
$1001 – $2500: 3%
$2501 – $5000: 2%
$5001+ : 1%

A builder has paid through the app. When do I get paid?

Secure payments (via Stripe) will be paid within 2 business days to your nominated bank account.

What is Stripe?

Stripe is a leading payment gateway that enables businesses to safely and securely accept credit or debit card payments from customers without needing to set up a merchant account with their bank.

How is my payment data stored?

All payments are managed by Stripe. Read their Privacy Policy for more information.
